STRO-CA is a private non-profit organization. Our goal is to promote Local Economic Development through Local Exchange Systems and Appropriate Technologies in Central America.
We develop networks between small and medium businesses, consumers and local governments in order to stimulate and strengthen the local economy and to contribute to job and income creation for the local population.
We promote the optimization and sustainable use of local resources to offer adequate products in the local market.
We work with neighborhood organizations, companies, universities, local governments, agrarian organizations, women’s organizations and religious institutions in several developing countries and in Holland.
We offer technical assistance. We specialize in research, systematization and socialization of innovative local economic development experiences. We offer the following services to partners and organizations:
