World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Since 1950 it has helped millions of boys, girls and families, helping them during emergencies produced by natural and social disasters and designing long-term solutions to reduce poverty and promote justice in the communities it works with.
Motivated by its faith in Jesus Christ, World Vision serves alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people. World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. The only condition for help is human need.
World Vision is part of the “Appreciating What is Ours” project in Yoro, Honduras.
